Back in the saddle again!
Hi all,
I've just signed up to the forum so thought I'd better introduce myself.
I live in the Southern UK with the wife and 2 young kids, and I'm a serving Police officer.
Cycling-wise I did the Etape Du Tour both in 2000(Mont Ventoux), and 2001(Col d'Aspin, Tourmalet), and in 2002 I did the Rominger Classic in Switzerland.
Since 2005 however, the bikes been stored as due to work and family I just havent' had time to cycle.
Now the kids are a bit older though, I've got back into it, and I've entered the Dragon Ride in June, which is a 112 miles sportive around South Wales.
Since the end of October I've lost 30lbs, with a combination of cutting out the junk food, and also using my indoor trainer 5 or 6 times a week for a total of about 10 hours on average.
