Overweight ex-biker from SE MA. here hoping to get back in the saddle.
Hello, I'm Greg from SE MA. and my doctor recently told me I've got to lose weight soon and will need a hip replacement at the end of this year. He said biking was low impact and probably going to be my best answer to my health problems.
Looking over your forum I can already see I'm going to like it here. I'm going to do some research and then buy a mountain bike that will be sturdy enough to hold my overweight body while I pedal my way back to good health. My wife is so happy that I'm taking this seriously.
I can't weight to get back in the saddle.
