I've got a mint condition Schwinn Traveller III with fenders and rack that I've been riding for a couple years. In the first 4 months, I hurt my lower back because I didn't know how to fit the bike and everyone else I know sits around the house watching T.V. so they were of no help. I didn't go to the local LBS because I wasn't going to spend a penny there and it felt like stealing to make use of their services and not reciprocate in any way.
Anyway, after a 9 month hiatus, I bought a pickup truck from an avid biker and we got to talking about bikes. He was very gracious and offered to help fit. What a difference! I can tell that I got it where it needs to be and now it is a matter of building stamina and dropping some weight... off of me.
I've got 1200 miles on it now and I'm planning on many more.

P.S.
Sorry to say; but the brewery is closed.
