Greetings from Daytona Beach FL

Hello Everybody, my name is Jerry. I used to be an avid road cyclist around 20 years ago, switching to Mountain Biking around 10 years ago.

I am finding though, that as I get older, off road riding is really taking it's toll. I found what I liked most was long distance riding. So I sold my Surly Karate Monkey, and my Titus Racer X and bought myself a brand new Surly Long Haul Trucker. I have had it about a month or so, and have put about 300 miles on it. GREAT BIKE! Such a smooth and stable ride.

I really started getting to love the idea of doing a tour, so I just ordered another LHT for my wife, we are thinking of doing the C&O Canal for our first trip.

Here is a picture of my 'trucker.

LHT are so nice.
I did a cross country tour last summer.
6 of the riders had new LHT's.

The 42 Ride Ends in LA
