    Hello from Montvale, NJ

Hey all, I'm (about to be) new to the sport of road cycling. I'm 27 and currently living in northern NJ. I'm currently waiting on my first bike to arrive via mail. I decided to go a little cheaper route, and the bike I decided on after a lot of research is a Windsor Fens (105 gruppo) from bikes direct. Yeah, yeah, I know it doesn't have an awesome name on the downtube, but I'd like to think that whats on top of the saddle has more to do with enjoying the ride than the sticker on the downtube. Anyways, in my spare time (which I don't have much of since I'm graduating college in 3 weeks) I play baseball, jog, and ski race. I can't get enough of the outdoors. Anyways, I look forward to getting to know a bunch of you, and I can't wait to get on my bike. I have a feeling I'm about to become addicted.

Welcome to the forum, and no need to apologize for the brand of bike. Any bike is better than none at all....riding lots is the real secret to enjoying this great sport!

Hey, the way I see it, if I don't have a problem with my bike, no one else has any right to have a problem with my bike. Just figured I'd get into this since its an awesome workout, lots of freedom, and I hear its about the best training possible for ski racing.

I hope you ordered the correct size frame.
Once you (or your LBS) get it assembled and adjusted post some pics. Enjoy the ride.

I'll definitely do so! I did EXTENSIVE research as to what frame size I needed, used about 438932 calculators and took the general consensus after I vetted as much info as possible. I'm pretty sure once I get it I'll be able to dial it in. I'll just be ecstatic when I've got 2 wheels underneath me.
