hi

my name is dan, ive ben riding for my whole life kinda took a break for a few years but getting back into it, i will soon have a garrage full of bikes again i imagine, i use to fix up and sell bikes in highschool but that did not last long due to the fact that verry few people ride in my town (roseburg Or), im into all bikes in genral i love the mechanical aspects of a bike and how it can get you anyware with no gas! i currently ride a huffy beach cruser with hybrid tires on it to work, im working on a spezialized hard rock for my mtn bike and an old heavy ITOC 10 speed i have many bikes, a trek 930 stock, the huffy whatever cruser lol, a couple free sprits, an electra 3spd cruiser, a stingray for some reason its ben in the yard for a while... i have owned many in the past to and have had about 90% stolen, to start an orignal k2 dmc model that was taken when i was 4 feet away from it while getting a soda out of a vending machine.. a gt cant rember the model all aluimnum frame with a rockshock front frok, 2 trek 930s vanished out of my garrage along with my snap on tool box. i could ramble on about how many nice bikes ive lost or think about the feature and about how many i will come to own.. thats always a better thought. even though that DMC was a rare bike...

Hello! I'm new here too. I've been into bikes for as long as I can remember and luckily, I haven't had half the bad luck you have experienced. Have you ever tried reporting your losses to the proper authorities?

Hello Dan and William, welcome to Bike Forums. Sorry to hear about your stolen bikes Dan, were any of those locked at the time they were taken?

yes they were locked, the K2 the person stole the bike rack also with my bike on it, ods are sense it was right by a road they just put it all in the back of a truck. the trek was taken by the cable being cut but somehow they forgot to take the rear wheel that was locked with a bar lock..
