Howdy, I'm Jon. I hail from NC (usually Cullowhee, sometimes Lexington) I'm here 'cause I'm looking to get a roadiebike sometime. 
Rev.Chuck (know of him from another, unrelated site) mentioned this site to me eeons back, and I finally decided to join up.
Currently, I have a pimped out Trek 4300 (all except the fork is pimp, anyway), so I'll be completely new to roadiebiking whenever I get around to getting me one.
