How do I find friends?

I have been on bike forums for a little more than a month and I don't know anyone. I am a newbie and I joined mostly to ask people questions and get advise.

I mostly do light touring and everyday trail rides. If anyone is into that sort of thing, they are welcome to send me a friend request.

Start posting. If you like touring, post in touring. Trail rides, general cycling. Foo is a great place to hang out and just be yourself. The more you post, the more people will get to know you. If you are looking for people in your area, go to your regional forum and post in there. I have made quite a few friends from the regional forum and have ridden with around a dozen or so BF members.

The introductions section is to say things about yourself. The type of bike you ride, the places you ride and ambitions etc. You ask questions in the relevant sections - Touring, Recreational, Road, or for questions on the tech aspects of your bike and upgrades in the Bike Mechanics section. People will answer your questions and as you get more experience you will be able to answer other peoples questions. If you are looking for somebody to ride with you, go to your Regional sub-forum. Everyone on these forums are friends, although some are pretty good at hiding it.
