Greetings and salutations!

Hello -- just found the forum.........

Getting back into cycling after a long, too long hiatus!

First order of business is to get the gals down from the rafters and clean/lube/replace parts -- I have a (we call them vintage now??) Nishiki International and Nishiki Alien. Going low-buck for the moment and get them cleaned up and back on the road -- might look for something newer once I get rolling. I was in a bike shop and picked up a copy of mountain bike action -- the choices nowadays are staggering!!!

My goal is to get back in shape and just complete the hotter -n- hell hundred this year. It should be a little struggle since I'm 44, but nothing ever gets done without a challenge.

Welcome to Bike Forums, Jeff! Check out the Classic & Vintage forum and post some photos of your bikes, and stop by the Texas regional forum and say hello. We have lots of riders here from Texas.

It is indeed almost over -- just need to get the brakes installed and tuned up on my mountain bike and I'll be riding soon -- maybe today!
