BackFlip from CA

Greetings everyone, from Pinole, CA. a small town about 20 miles north of San Francisco. I currently have a Specialized Hardrock Sport and a Trek 3700 for my wife.
We take a 10 mile daily ride on portions of the SF Bay Trail that's near our house. For now we're concentrating on building leg strength and endurance. Hopefully, next year we'll be able to take longer rides.

Before moving to Sacramento a year ago I grew up in Rodeo/Hercules. My brother and I used to get up at 5am on Saturdays to ride up and down the Hercules hills. You want leg strength and edurance try going up Lupine or Redwood in Hercules. You'll be itching for that granny gear but don't do it, you'll feel like a wuss if you do......happy riding!
