Virginia says hello.

Yep, I'm from Norfolk, VA. I have always retained an interest in cycling but have just recently got myself more involved in my cycling community. There is a large group of fixed gear riders in my neighborhood as it is an "artsy" part of town. I had taken a few rides on my friends fixie and really fell for it. Now my hipster level has reached a new level with my purchase of a somewhat disappointing Motobecane Track Singlespeed.

I new I'd be getting what I paid for with this bike so I am not floored by it's performance. I needed a starter and I got a starter.

I am happy to have found this message board and I look forward in benefitting from the knowledge of much more experienced riders. Thanks for having me!

Cheers and welcome to Bike Forums. Have you already visited our SSFG (singlespeed and fixed gear) subforum?

Welcome!

Hello, I am from Northern VA. Over here, there are tons of cyclists and it's getting better every day. Are you doing the Seagull?
