Thanks for the encouragement
I was concerned about rain yesterday so I ended up taking a break, which was probably wise, although later in the evening I was feeling bummed about not going out.
I finally went on the trail today, a nice smooth flat trail that I think will be good for breaking in my bike and myself. I started getting a little bit tired and turned around at the 1.5 mile marker but as soon as I did I realized I was going (slightly) downhill the rest of the way and I definitely could have gone at least another mile. I plan on doing that next time I'm on the trail, and trying to push myself a little more.
So that gives you an idea of what kind of shape I'm in! Nonetheless, I'm excited and looking forward to getting stronger and I'm already looking at my area in a new light
This is the most I've enjoyed exercise in a long time.
