(Old) England calling.

Hi. I'm already entertained by this place. I'm a Brit, living in Sunderland in the North East of England, and well past the age at which I expect to get any faster. I'm a roadie, do a few centuries every year and a fair bit of touring. When I quit work - which won't be many years in the future - I have a plan to cycle across Canada - among other places.

At present I am on the verge of ordering myself a fixie as a winter bike - I find that the right number of bikes is always one more than I currently own.

Stop by the UK subforum if you want to talk with other Brits.
