NEW HERE, OLD OUT THERE in lala land.

Bought what I think will probably be my last bike, a Pinarello Treviso. Trying to date the production year. Have 5 bikes. MTB,Single speed/fixie, 3 road which includes a barn find 1975 Peugeot PRN10 which I just finished restoring after 2 1/2 years. Recent motorcycle crash, broken back, broken arm 2 spots, would seem to preclude the dirt which I like as much and sometimes a lot more than road. Doc says stay off all two wheels including bicycles. Can't do it.
Just looking for information on my Pinarello but happy to discuss my other bikes and or riding in West Los Angeles/Greater Los Angeles for 50 years. The two wheel scene has changed more than the 4 wheel but the good guys are still in business. But the look at how much money I have has trickled down to pedaling as all things do and will. You see some rediculous things going on and by, and there sure are a lot of "professional" looking riders and rigs around here!! Bike salesmen have joined the auto sales ranks ethically.
Ciao and allez!!

Welcome to Bike Forums. Sounds like you have a few stories to tell. Love to hear them. Check out the forum for your Region. I'm sure there's lots of people from LA on here. Btw, doesn't sound like it does, however if your back is bothered by regular bikes, you may want to check out recumbents. Might take some of the stress off the back.

Alfster, I relied to your post but I think I hit the wrong button. Did you get my reply?
