Hey everyone my names Lawrence Bahrs. Ive been quiet interested in vintage road bikes and other types like board track racers for a while. Only yesterday i was able to acquire a gem of my own. A early 70's motobecane mirage all original down to the nuts on the rear wheel it needed a few tweaks but otherwise it was perfect. Unfortunately today while coming home from a ride i managed to catch a hole and well the rest is evident. I ended up far worse than the bike unfortunately. I got a giant cut above my eye and my hand was shreaded. The moto ended up with giant rip in the saddle, the right hand brake handle broken and the bars and brand new tape scratched up. And the front wheel needs to be trued now. I was so pissed at myself because it was mint for its age now im going to have to get aftermarket stuff but now that i look at it i realized i now have an opportunity to make it my own. Time to get some leather tape and some compe aeros! Hopefully i can get on it soon and post some progress on here!
