Newbie from Copenhagen, Denmark
Hello all and greetings from Copenhagen. I've lurked for about 4 weeks in these forums and found it proper to register. These forums truly are great. So much accumulated knowledge from which to learn. 
I love biking and I bike practically everywhere, to work (unfortunately, I'm out of one at the moment but still...), shorter pleasure rides and longer ones to get in shape.
I've had bikes since the early '60s but the best one one I've had yet is a TREK S720 which my wife gave me as a pre-gift for my upcoming 60th birthday. Takes me everywhere.

Thanks all for your kind welcome and sorry for the belated reply. My PC's been acting up so I went for some longe bike rides... better and cheaper than sailing the PC off the balcony.
To Ten Wheels:
I think I expressed myself clumsily. I didn't get my first bike in my 60s but in the 1960s, 1962 to be exact.
To Daddio:
You shall be most welcome and if it's too much hassle bringing your own bike, there's a very good Rent-A-Bike shop in Copenhagen. They got everything form Granddad bikes to road bikes and they're not all that expensive.
