Hello From Sonoma County CA
Hello from Sonoma Co California.
I have been a cyclist since I could ride a bike. BMX in the early days (a pair of Skyway Tuff wheels are still my most cherished birthday present to this day.) Mongoose, Redline, Diamond Back, UNI seats. Then road bikes, all in the high desert of Southern CA.
Got my first fixed gear bike over 20 years ago when a great man gave me a Legnano track bike he used for winter/spring training while racing in college. I have been primarily a singlespeeder ever since. First mountain bike was a Kona HumuHumuNukuNukuApua'a SS.
Recently commuting to work 10 miles round trip and doing all shopping and errands around town.
New commute bike is a Nashbar Hounder I got for US$213 on Memorial Day sale. Last two years were on my K2 Z3 mountain bike fitted with slicks and mtn. fenders, now its getting overhauled and knobbies swapped back in. Looking forward to getting back on dirt on the weekends. Been lurking for a bit, cheers to all this is a great forum.
