Pretty rookie at this point. Just getting back on a bike after years of back pain. I have been reading the forums for quite a while, but just signed up yesterday.

I live in the West End of Van.

I just switched to clipless and had the misfortune of breaking my elbow.

I have a Cannondale Synapse. (circe 2006ish).

I am also a pending PoliSci grad. Later.

OH no!! Did you break your elbow from falling off of the bike? :( Hope you get better soon, that sounds painful.

I hope that doesn't discourage you. As for the back pain, sometimes cycling helps a lot with that. Loosens up the muscles...make sure you get your core strength worked on too, that always helps. Take it easy, okay?

Haha yes. I was just getting comfy with the clipless, maybe too comfy, and I tried to leave both feet clipped in and lean up against a post at a stop. I didn't pan out. The fracture seems fairly minor. Mostly frustrating that I can't ride right now. A few more days I hope.

I agree, it can only be helping my back. Thanks for the welcome.
