Howdy
Hey all, so after lurking for a few months I figured I should sign up.
I've been commuting for the past few years on a single speed (fixed, then free) Motobecane track frame from BD and a dumpster salvaged Miyata. Finally decided to branch out a bit this year and try some other riding styles on better equipment, picked up a Dawes 2300 from BD to try my hand at road riding and triathlons, and last night added a Civia Bryant Alfine to the stable to become my regular commuter bike. One of the single speeds is going to have to go soon.
Looking forward to participating in here and learning more about biking.
Oh yeah - I'm in Minneapolis.

It's been a good intro to road biking, and I've managed to keep up with the pace in group rides. I'd love to have something sleeker/lighter, but that'll have to wait a year. It's definitely been an inexpensive way to re-spark my interest in biking.
