Greetings everyone- from the Midwest!

Hello,
I have been lurking for a while now, and thought it was about time to introduce myself. Cal from MN here. I just started riding again this year after rotator cuff surgery left me unable to run (needed to get out and do something!!). I now commute to work via bike, and find myself doing more and more errands (ie groceries, beer run, etc) on my bike. I have a 90's Scott mountain bike, mid 80's Nishiki road bike, and a new 2010 Raleigh fg/ss. I have enjoyed reading through posts, and have learned a great deal. Hopefully I will also be able to reciprocate!

Hi 10 wheels, Commute is a short/quick 3 miles, but I have a good uphill in both directions (town is in a river valley and I live on one side of valley, work on the other). I commute 98% of the time on my fixed gear (this summer), this winter I am sure my mtb will get the workout!
