    Hi Everybody!

Mason from Seattle here. I LOVE THIS SITE. As a relative noob, I've learned so much from the discussion threads. Thank you guys for being here.

I'm into the old road bikes. I've got 198x Pinarello Treviso Single Speed (the original drivetrain was missing - i'll get her proper geared soon) and a 1972 Gitane Tour De France converted to 40/17 Single Speed.

I'm new to bottom bracket maintenance/replacement and would love some input on replacing the Crankset and BB on my Gitane.

    Thanks so much!

    Howdy Mason.
The guys in the Mechanics forum will be able to walk you through maintaining your bottom bracket.

    Welcome aboard.
