I'm new, too.
I saw the address for Bike Forums in a magazine and thought I'd check it out. My road bike is in the shop for the week and I'm getting anxious to get back out there. I live in a small town and have to take it to Reno to get reliable work done. I've put about 5000 miles on my bike in 30 months, which is pretty good, considering I can't ride during the snowy winter here.
I've already enjoyed several of the threads and looking forward to continued contact.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm getting old and may have already forgotten, but it might have been Parade Magazine that comes with the newspaper.

Wait. I just remembered. It was in an article in the Sacramento Bee about the Bic Pen / Bike Lock thing. It mentioned there was a discussion about it at Bike Forums.

I found the forums from the NY Times article about the bike locks. At least one great thing came out of the lock fiasco! Many people seem to have found these forums from it. I can't believe I haven't stumbled across these forums before.
