Hi from New York, NY

Hi, I've been reading this board for awhile but I'm a bit shy

My name is Tia, I'm 21 and I live in New York. I'm a college student, guitar teacher, marketing intern, and I am in 4 rock bands. I begged for and got a bike for my 21st birthday from my folks (hey, it's the last huge birthday, I had to ask for something good) and have not been able to get enough of it ever since. I commute as well as just riding around for the fun of it and it has made my life a lot more awesome. Before The Bike, I got basically no exercise and got frustrated from being on the crowded subway all the time. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and getting more involved in the cycling community, locally and on the internet.

Hi Bronx_bike_grl
Nice to here from such an enthusistic person!! So what kind of ride do you have now? There are a couple of guys up there in NYC that bike AND ride the subway to commute. I can't imagine that but it works in NYC and other places. Glad to have you here. We also have fun with each other a lot. Welcome!!
