Hello from India!

Hi, I'm from Bangalore, India.. it's nice to be here. Also a little scary since there's so much information to process that things can get a little overwhelming.

Okay, so me.. I'm a professional musician. Trying to go car-free, and mostly succeeding. I love me my beer, I would rather be travelling. I'm probably going to end up doing a long tour of my country at some point, but for now I'm just taking each day as it comes. I have a starter orbea mtb (with a nice frame, though) that I'll gradually upgrade into my very own personalized monstrosity, and BF will play a big part in helping me with that.

Apologies if this is random and disconnected, typed it out on my phone.

Welcome. Just so I have a picture of this young Indian musician biking around and playing music, what kind of music do you play? Are you a vocalist or instrumentalist? And of course, what do you use your bicycle for? Commuting, local transport, etc...

Heh.. I'm actually into jingles and production, just getting into film music here. My weapon of choice is the keyboard, but I'm a vocalist too. Genre-wise, I guess I tend to give everything equal love. Big radiohead fan, like me a bit of Euro hyphenated-genre electronica - Royksopp, Air, Bjork. From around these parts, AR Rahman, Rahat fateh ali..

About my bike, I primarily use it for commuting and getting around town. The main problem is parking when I get to where I want to go. Things are improving because we have a small but vocal group of bikers here, and the Bangalore Transport Commissioner is a biker too.

When I have the time, I just head out to see the countryside. It gives me a nice feeling to be doing that on my own power. Ride a few trails now and then, nothing hardcore. Had to stop for a while after fracturing my shoulder while downhilling; my arm still hasn't recovered.

Heh, I'll just tag along. Hello from another Bangalorea rider here. Rode with mudeth before he broke his shoulder.
Was into road biking till a nasty accident in February. Picked up an MTB after that, a Trek 4300.

Commute on a bike, living car free is easy when you don't own one lol. This place has good public transport and really ****ty traffic, so it works out wonderfully.
