bike commuter
hi! I recently got back into biking after not for about 25 years. 40yrs old now, didn't like it since i first got my driver's license. I got a used mountain bike with a rock shock on front only, only for curbs.
I had a nearly deadly wreck two weeks ago and mostly joined to get insight on helmets with facial protection. i dont like the downhill mountain bike helmets i've seen, they look hot and heavy for a to b riding, not to mention pricy.
are there any cheap, light helmets (could be a single hit foam disposable) but must have good face protection.

I've seen some full face bike helmets over at amazon for under $100. May not carry as much protection as the pricey ones but you won't scrape your face.
