Getting back into it again! Hello from Los Angeles / Santa Barbara
hey there everyone. I have been riding bicycles in one form or another for about 30 years. I had a full suspension Gary Fisher when full suspension was a big deal.... (I think it was a Joshua).
In college I used to ride 6 days a week, sometimes 100 miles a day.... I LOVED that Gary Fish bike..... was amazing. But I had a horrible accident off road one day that involved me removing one of the pedals from my back..... and a nasty scar.
So I quit riding bicycles and I decided to take up something safer - riding motorcycles. As of late I have become obsessed with off road desert racing.
last month when my wife and I were on a trip, we ended up in telluride....
i got to see up close how freakin cool bicycles have gotten!! my eyebrow was firmly raised.
the last time i walked into a shop and asked the guy if bicycle tires were tubeless yet - the guy laughed at me. Now they are all tubeless! Also, all the parts are motorcycle parts. Maxxis and Kenda tires, fox shocks... its all motorcycle technology! I can dig it.
So im VERY interested in racing and in very interested in a Giant Reign or a Santa Cruz something or other..... Im open to bike suggestions as well.....

oh and I have been eatpasta for better than 10 years - so if this eatpasta guy is around anywhere, tell him ill armwrestle him for the name.... Im on at least 6 other boards with that name....
