Hello from Texas

Hello....As you can see new to the forum!! I just started cycling this summer and really enjoying it. I am 41 and live in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. My wife and I are training for the Hotter than Hell next year and have several upcoming biking events that include 30 and 80 mi treks. Im riding daily for an average of 15-25 miles. Getting more endurance, but hating the wind
I tend to get winded towards the end of the ride on certain days, but feel like that is improving. I am diabetic type I and the toughest challenge is keeping my Blood Sugars up. When they drop its like hitting a brick wall. I have to stop check BS and then adjust. Kinda pain in the butt.

Good to be hear and look forward to meeting others

Hi, you might want to check out http://www.fwbaclub.org/

The club has about 600 members and offers many types of rides so as to accommodate many people.

Also, they are a very social group.
