Another one from PA.
Hello all!
My name is Jeff and I am thrilled to have found another great cycling forum to join!
I'm mostly into wrenching and collecting bicycles but I do ride. My rides are usually short hops about town and stops for snacks are usually included...
I've been a part-time mechanic for a local shop since 1991 and have been collecting for a bit longer. I've been riding and wrenching since I figured out which tool removed the training wheels on my first bike.
I'm quickly turning into a retro grouch and will be spending most of my time over in the classic and vintage section. There are some interesting folks over there. My current stable includes Balloon tire, old school BMX, early mountain, British, folding, muscle bikes, and anything odd that tickles my fancy - and my fancy is easily tickled! I currently have 115 bikes in the collection and with swap meet season approaching next month, I expect that number to change.
I live in Central Pennsylvania and can see Three Mile Island from my bedroom window.

Welcome to BikeForums.
I lived in Palmyra, PA when the TMI incident occurred. Drove down to Middletown a week or two afterward, when it was "safe", to see what the area looked like. Didn't see any 3-headed cows.
115 bikes? Whats your favorite bike? Got pics?

Welcome Jeff!
I'm a bit north of you, in New Cumberland. If you're not already a member, you might want to check out the Harrisburg Bicycle Club https://www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org/ . There are lots of group rides to enjoy, including a short (10mi) slow (9-10 mph) social ride on Sunday mornings starting on City Island. Its a nice ride to bring out slower vintage bikes.
Happy riding, and wrenching!

Welcome to the forums. Have some experience with that area my son was in the USMC and had some duty at Harrisburg when we lived in the Cleveland Oh. area.
