Hello!
I've been reading this forum for many months and I thought I'd join after some nice commuter threads.
I hate cars. HATE.
...mine is 11 years old and I plan on putting antique plates on it, in VA that's 20 years ...I think.
I'd say I'm car-lite ...last month I spent $20 on fuel, a good month though. I'd say $40 is more normal for me
Anyways, this is a very nice Bike forum ...I hope to contribute!
If you don't do single speed or fixie ...I don't care! If you hate gears ....I don't care!

I have a 2004 Giant Cypress converted to a commuter, I ditched the suspension fork and added some panniers and fenders. It still needs some work, lights etc. I also have a 2010 Jamis Sputnik, it rides great.

a_ho, I'm a VCU alumni, did you move down for VCU or UR (or other)?
VCU is how I got into bikes, I love the Fan. It's a nice place to live and bike.
