NE Ohio road rider
Hi folks, new here but riding pretty much all my life. Bought a new Specialized Roubaix this year and been having a ball with it. I am 63 looking toward retirement in a few years, I am a little worried about what I will do in cold weather when I retire. Anyway I work in IT, left winger, married no kids, love to cook and eat , like to read modern physics, cosmology and gangster stuff, also do golf and weight lifting.

Hello Roadog,
One option with no kids would be to move to a warmer climate.
I live on the Texas Gulf Coast. It is a good place for winter bike riding.

Welcome to the forums. Having moved from the cleveland Oh area (Mentor) about 10 yrs ago I would recommend SE Colorado. Colorado Springs has a great cycling community and weather that is surely better than in the lee side of Lake Erie!!! Just a thought though come visit with SO to make sure the move would be accepted by all.
