    Hello from Boise, Id

    Hello All,

Love to flyfish/hunt/snowboard/wakeboard/ and MTB the foothills. Currently have a 99 Cannondale SuperV 400 and just sold my Cannondale R600 roadie (too small). I stumbled on this forum while researching my next road bike purchase. Great info from forum users. I am currently running road slicks on my full suspension to work out. I ride about 100-150 miles a week.

Welcome, Tanker. Always nice to have another person from the upper left hand corner join up.

I'm in Boise too. I've tried some mountain biking, but my preference is long distance touring. Not much of that going on around here.

Welcome to the forums Tanker! You live in a nice nice area of the country! I was stationed at Mountain Home AFB way back in 1977-79, and I loved every day of that assignment! Great fishing! Great Hunting, Great camping! The town of Mountain Home wasn't much, but the big city of Boise was only 50 miles down the road.

    Ahhhh, Moscow's not so bad

I grew up there, left in 84 (moved to Coeur d'Alene) and came back for my last couple years of college (89-92).

    Are you a student?

Welcome, nice to know there are a few of us idahoans here in the forums. I live in Fruitland ID but its really small and most people dont know where it is.

Fruitland is 54 miles north of boise on I-84 , the insterstate runs right through it and bisects Hwy 95 in fruitland it you cant miss it.

Were you by any chance at the Twilight criterium in boise on july 24th? It was a great race, i figure every cyclist within 100 miles was there.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Nice to hear from the Idahonians. (Gus) you should see how much Boise has grown. Too much traffic. I don't think Mountain home has changed much though. (ChanMan) did not make it to the Criterium this year. Went camping.
