New Guy From SoCal

Hey there everybody im really looking into getting a road bike but I know NOTHING about them other then they have wheels...HaHa

The reason I'm interested is I have a few buddy's who ride and seeing all these guys riding there bikes around town got me thinking that it would be an amazing way to help keep me in shape. I've been looking around your forum to learn as much as I can before I do anything but like I said this is all kind of new to me anybody who could point me in the right direction would be tons of help

Thanks for your time

- Jared

Welcome to Bike Forums, Jared!

What kind of riding do you want to do? Commuting, running errands, riding with a group on the weekends?

Stop by the Southern California regional forum and say hello.
