New guy from Washington.

Hi, even though I am new here I have been an avid rider for several years. After wearing out my 1971 Raliegh Grand Prix I am now riding a Nishiki Custom Sport. This is my daily commuter bike. Would like to find out how old it is. The bottom bracket has KC13267 with a W below it.

Seat post has champion no. 5, chrome molyboen steel, Stainless p.g. tubes, Tange Industries LTD. Also says made in Japan.

Also on the frame it says Handcrafted by Kawamara.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Hi there, I'm new to...I've been lurking for a couple months now and just registered today...I had a Nishiki Olympic 12 and wanted to know the date , found this Nishiki date database through Google: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/390318-nishiki-serial-number-database.html and that's how I found this forum.

Yeah I am kind of new at this. Figured that since I am now riding a Nishiki I would find out the history of it. It was given as a matching set his and her bikes. The couple can not remember when they bought them new. They said they only rode them a couple of times and then quit riding. Their lose, my gain!
