Greetings from Tampa Bay...

Seemed like a good idea to go ahead and register since I'm in here from time to time reading different threads. I'm a casual rider at best and use my lunch break 3 times a week to get in a 5-7 mile ride. I have owned a Trek Navigator 200 for over 6 yrs now and I'm looking to make a switch in the very near future to a hybrid. I have 5 different bikes in mind that I would like to test ride before I make a decision on which to buy. The Hybrid forum has helped me in narrowing down my choices. I look forward to contributing my own thoughts, ideas and experiences to the appropriate forums as time and circumstance warrant.

I just saved myself the $450-$550 that I was planning to spend on a hybrid. I just had the LBS switch out my knobby 26-1.95" tires for a pair of Bontrager H2 26-1.5" tires. My comfort bike now has the feel of a hybrid. It now accelerates quicker and rides a heck of a lot smoother.
