I am new and have no bike yet (but had years ago). I want to be back on the bike seat but not sure what kind of bike I like(hanging around between road and flat bar). Some advice is great to me and will look around this forum for more information about my next bike. Thanks for your welcoming.

Welcome. Maybe if you sing while you post it will help with the stuttering. Works for Mel Tillis.
My only advice is find a good local bike shop. Don't buy from some giant box store, they generally sell crap and assemble it poorly.

Hello BF people! Been lurking for about a month, and decided to join. Just got back into cycling this year after 20+ years off the bike. Did my first metric with 3.5 months of training. Planning to improve my climbing and do a full century in 2011. I ride a 2005 Fuji Roubaix (aluminum ) but would like to get a CF bike.
