Howdy Partner,

Welcome redaxeguitar to Bike Forums

Get some heavy miles in on the bike.
That will make you look and feel better.

To loose weight you got to lower your calorie intake.

Welcome redaxeguitar.
A few years ago when I was a kid of 58 I dropped 20 pounds over the summer with no changes to my diet. I was already eating healthy. All I did was ride 40-45 miles a day for 5-6 days a week. The rides included about 20 miles of hills. Got much stronger and was able to keep up with my 39 year old riding buddy.

Good luck with the weight loss.
