Hello From Louisville, KY

I am 24 years old, married, and looking for a bike to comute to and from work. I cycled a lot in Jr High and High School as part of cross training for Track and Field. When I left for college I had to leave my bike behind because the campus had no where to store it, and they wheren't allowed inside the dorms. Now I am married and begining my career I am looking to geting back on the bike for both personal health and freeing up some extra cash. I have been looking for an active online cycling comunity to try and help answer many of the questions I have about cycling.

Welcome Alfred to BikeForums.
I see you've already found the Commuting forum. Lots of great info there.
For $200 you won't get much of a bike. Save up a little more (maybe $500+) and you'll get a much better, more reliable bike.
You'll also need lights, panniers to carry your stuff, and the list goes on and on.

I understand I am asking a lot from my small budget but with everything going on right now there is no way I would be able to spend $500. That extra $300 buys a lot of groceries. I figure the money I save by riding will help offset accessories and repairs. I hoping to get something with potential for my little $200.
