just thought i'd say hi to everyone on here, as i just joined up today!

im a bit of a freaky cyclist, in that i only get my bikes out in good weather, so everytime i see guys (or girls!) with their nylons on and chugging away on their bikes in the freezing weather here in london now, i just turn sort of green with envy!

what do i ride? well, i have 3 bikes, all racers, and all bought for a total of £10!

2 of the are raleigh bananas and the 3rd is a weird one by puch!

I'm retired and have trouble facing the cold.

I hope you realize, the first few bikes are virtually free, just to get you hooked. Next thing you know you'll have a winter bike, a rain bike, a fair weather racing bike, a touring bike, a half-dozen pair of cycling shorts, bibs, cool weather tights, cold weather tights, arm warmers, rain gear, panniers, HR monitor, GPS, warm weather gloves, cool weather gloves, cold weather gloves, toe covers, light booties, heavy neoprene booties, ear warmers, balaclava, repair stand, stocked bike toolbox, 20 tires hanging in your garage, stash of tubes, login accounts at a half-dozen online bike shops, and be on first-name basis with at least two bike-shop owners.

I strongly suggest you sell the bikes and take up football.
