Hello and Help!
Hello there, I'm new on here and I need a little help.
I'm currently looking for a road bike for around £1000.
It'll be my first for many years, I've got a hybrid which I've Cycled Lands End John O Groats on plus a few other shorter tours.
The road bike will be a Sunday best for day rides.
I've tried out a Wilier Lavaredo, which I'm pretty keen on, but I'm starting to lean towards a Cannondale CAAD 8 105.
Can anybody advise?

Thanks.
I'm expecting more support for the Cannondale.
I've not actually seen a Lavaredo out on the road, only the occasional one in a bike shop. I think I like so much because it's a bit different.
The Cannondale has got my head but the Wilier has got my heart.
