Car Enthusiast Converted (almost)
Hi Everyone,
I'm a 20ry old from Australia. My story is that I'm a car enthusiast but I crashed my car a little over 2years ago (pretty much straight after I got my license) and didn't have enough money to buy and run a new car so I started cycling.
I still am cycling to commute but I have my car which I thrash around the racetrack on weekends. And yes I do cop a lot a flak from my petrol head buddies for riding my bike around but its worth it for the pennies I save and because I have gotten really fit.
I've joined bike forums because over these last few years I've just been riding my mountain bike that my parents bought for me when I was school and I think I should probably find something a little bit lighter and faster. This seems like a good place to start learning.

Every mile you pedal is that much petrol saved. Every litre of petrol saved is that much cash towards race tyres.
