New from the LBC

Hi, new member from Long Beach, Ca., "where the sewer meets the sea!". I started cycling a bit ago after a heart attack at 47 years old (I'm currently 49). I've been living car free since October. Yes, it can be done in Southern California, despite what everyone says!

I've been browsing here for a bit and figured it was time to let myself be known. I'll probably spend a bunch of time in the car-free and commuting sections, as that's where my interests lie, but I'll browse all the sections. Anyone else car free in Socal? Let's get heard and try and get rid of the car culture stereotype here!
