New from a northeast OH suburb

I've been looking at bikes for a few weeks. Today I bought a Schwinn Raleigh at our local bike store. I went to WalMart and Target, but the bikes I saw didn't seem substantial and none of them fit me. I plan to ride around the neighborhood and through our local parks. I am an avid walker who wants a change and a bike seemed the best way to do it. I'm looking forward to riding as much as possible.

Welcome. Which suburb are you in? Plenty of nice trails and good roads to ride no matter where you are. Good call in not going with a bike from a big box store.
