Hello from Upstate NY!
Hey, I found this forum because of the "Retro Roadies" thread, and I'm going to stick around because it looks like a cool place.
I'm a total cycling newbie, I like riding and I started road riding with a 1981 Schwinn Le Tour fixie conversion I bought off a friend. I've since converted that to a pseudo-period correct 12-speed conversion made up of Suntour/Shimano components. I also have a 2010 Motobecane Sprint that I love to death, it's not as fun to ride as the Schwinn but it is much easier to go fast on.
For those in the area CK Cycles and Downtube are my local shops of choice(I'm usually at CK though), so maybe I'll run into some of you guys there.
Anyways, see you on the road and around the boards!
