Hello from Maine
Hi, my name is Carl, I live in Brooksville, Maine which is right on the coast. Very hilly here, we have a flat spot about a quarter of a mile long but it's uphill! I ride a couple of different bikes, I commuted all winter (8m one way) on a Trek 830 with studs and a Wald basket and three speed bars. The looks I got! Not much riding around here let alone in the winter. In the summer I ride a Novara Safari 29er. It is way more bike than I need for my dirt road commute but it functions perfectly. I work on my bikes myself and and save some bikes from the dump.
Bye for now,
Carl
