Hello from Fort Collins, CO
Hi, my name is Will, i'm 31, married with 2 little girls, and i work from home. I'm a recent transplant to FoCo (cyclist's paradise) from the Memphis Area (Where you are putting your life on the line to cycle). However, i am relatively new to cycling, and i have lots of questions, that frankly, i am too embarrassed to ask here in smug-cyclist-ville. I'm hoping that i will feel a little less self-conscious about asking questions here.
i'm rolling on a 2006 Specialized Sirrus, mostly stock. i bought the bike 2nd hand in hopes of getting exercise and commuting in FoCo, which i do. However, i am wanting to get the most out of that bike, and this is where the questions begin...
before i get started on my diatribe/20 questions section, anyone wan to direct me to a more appropriate thread?
thanks!

Howdy and welcome to the forums. I'm here in Texas now, but lived in Fort Collins and Loveland for 5 years back a few years ago. Great place for hiking, too, and that's what I did. Check out the local bike stores if you haven't, they may surprise you; some are better at dealing with newcomers than others. There's some northern CO people here and also on Bikejournal.com.
