Whassamadafayou...from Brooklyn
Hi, I'm 37 and have been riding for a few years now in the city (originally from Toronto, Canada). I teach math and science in Manhattan.
I commute from Brooklyn to Manhattan during the week and on some weekends, we have a bike program at our school where we ride for 5-6 hours. My wrists have some problems from too much drumming and I'm looking to get a new bike. However I don't really want to sacrifice too much speed. Any ideas? I obviously avoid potholes as much as possible (but still) and on the long rides we come across a variety of terrain. Currently, I have a 10 year old Trek 750. Trek Utopia? or I like the cannondale bad boy with front lock suspension but possibly a bit to pricey for me. Even considering investing in a recumbent Volae, something pretty high so cars can see me... Great to meet you! |
Nice to have you.
