Hi,
I used to ride alot in the mid - 1980's.
Yes, i am dating myself. Turned 50 this year!

I started riding again last year withthi hope of losing weight and getting in better shape - and became kind of addicted. I rdoe 2300 miles in 2010, all of it on a 1985 steel road bike. I did complete 2 century's in October 2010 - it was ugly but i finished!

Bought myself a Cannondale Synapse Alloy 5 this past March - and hoping to get 3000 miles on it this year. I live in Central NJ, so i have the opportunity to ride very flat areas, or very hilly ones. I ALWAYS choose the flats - I am a clyde - but hope to be better able to conquer the hills in the fall!

I've been lurking around reading this forum, and it seems like you folks are pretty cool and interesting.
