Hi! I've been riding practically as long as I can remember. In fact, some of my clearest memories from my youth revolve around bikes (like the first time I rode a Schwinn instead of a JCPenny cheapy - how rigid it felt! - or the many bottom brackets I broke riding BMX-style long before the sport was invented.)
Today, I ride sporadically but still have that taste for rigid, "put your foot down and go forward" bikes. I've realized one dream: we now have THREE Kleins in the garage: one for me and one for each of my boys. Older bikes, so I'll frequent the vintage forums a bit for advice.
All the best,
Doug
