Hello amigos!
My names is Othón, 47 y/o and in my first day of riding after more than 30 years of not doing so, I broke my elbow and arm today and I love my bike... I live in Montreal, Quebec. I just posted the story and question on a different pedals system in the 50+ forum... if you could help answer my Q well I would appreciate very much that... Keep riding!

Welcome to the forums! Sucks to hear about your injury, I broke my wrist in October, first bone ever, and it was miserable, I can't imagine the elbow and arm. Good luck on a speedy recovery.
