I live in Cordova, a suburb of Memphis Tn. I've been riding an old steel Giant "boulder" for about 10 yrs. and just picked up my first road bike 5 weeks ago. so far I've logged 755 miles on it including 2 metric centuries and just completed my first full century this past sunday 6/12 and am looking forward to many years on 2 wheels!

Wow, you've logged a lot of miles in a short amount of time. How do you like the new road bike compared to your old Giant?

Howdy and welcome to the forums, James! Congrats on the new bike, sounds like you have put it to goo use so far.

I have fallen in love with road biking and rekindled my love for biking in general however the bike definitely leaves something to be desired. After shopping craigslist for a few weeks I broke down and ordered a dawes lightning dlx. it serves its purpose but I've quickly learned its limitations. in general I'm happy but will be replacing it soon with something a bit more up to date.

color? lol!! it doesn't matter honestly. I think even the gang members are confused about who runs with whom!
